Vice President and Managing Director, Hewlett-Packard (HP) South Pacific

In this role, Brandling has successfully integrated the operations of Compaq Computer and HP in Australia, following the merger in May 2002. In addition to overall general management responsibility for the South Pacific region, Brandling is responsible for driving the revenue and profitability for HP's enterprise products and solutions business and enterprise customer engagement in South Pacific.

Brandling moved into the role from his previous position as Vice President and Managing Director, Compaq Computer South Pacific with overall responsibility for the region.

Brandling brings to the position more than ten years of experience with Compaq and 17 and a half years in the IT industry. His experience spans the entire business and includes strategy development, major merger and integration leadership and organisational change.

Brandling joined Compaq after working with Wang for seven years, where he held a number of sales and management positions.

Brandling holds a BSc Hons. (Mechanical Engineering) from Aston University in England and his early career was in the motor industry in Europe. He is a member of the International CEO Forum (Australia) and a Director of the Australian Information Industry Association (AIIA).
