Richard Bailey is Vice President of the Imaging and Printing Group (IPG), South Pacific. In his role he is responsible for driving the imaging and printing business, products, supplies and business printing solutions across consumer, small and medium business, as well as the enterprise and the graphic arts segments for Australia and New Zealand.

Within IPG, Richard also oversees the South Pacific consumer segment go-to-market strategy, which covers the full range of handhelds, home entertainment devices, personal computers and photo and document printers.

Pior to this, Richard was Vice President and Managing Director for HP Financial Services’ Asia Pacific Japan (APJ) region, responsible for the strategic planning of business development innovations in financial services.

Richard has held senior leadership positions at both local and regional levels over a 20-year period. He has extensive experience in commercial financing with small medium businesses and large enterprises across a wide variety of industries.

Prior to joining HP in 2006, Richard was the Managing Director for GE Commercial Finance for Australia and New Zealand, where he oversaw the equipment finance and vendor finance segments. Before this, he was the Managing Director and Principal Shareholder of ALC Finance Group, an Australian equipment finance and corporate advisory firm, specialising in the transport sector. ALC was acquired by GE in 1998.

Richard is a former council member of the Australian Equipment Lessors Association and former President of the Australian Asset Finance Association.

Richard holds a Bachelor of Arts from The University of Western Australia in Perth.
