HP is committed to making the benefits of technology accessible to all people as a means to learn, work and thrive. Through grants of HP technology to non-profit organizations and primary and secondary schools, especially in communities where HP has a presence, and to colleges and universities around the world, HP seeks to promote educational opportunities and strengthen non-profit organizations addressing long-term societal needs.
Today, HP invests in schools and local communities in the following ways:
HP's educational initiatives focus on three major areas:
- Transforming the learning experience: Integrating technology into classrooms to revolutionize teaching and learning processes.
- Leading students to high-tech careers: Increasing the number of students on paths toward high-tech careers, emphasizing groups that are underrepresented in the technology sector.
- Student success in math, science and engineering: Enhancing skills in math, science and engineering through national and district-wide school reform and teacher professional development.
Community organizations are vital to improving the quality of life for all residents. Investing in community organizations where HP has a major presence as an employer strengthens those communities and supports HP’s reputation as a good citizen in the community.
Corporate Philanthropy supports community organizations to make a positive impact on the quality of life for people in HP site communities.
