1. Definitions
"Eligible Product" means HP product originating from the promoter, coded with the following HP LeftHand P4500 or HP LeftHand P4300 SAN Solution. Product codes: AT012A, AT011A, AT017A, AT016A.
"End User" is a participant who purchases an eligible product for his, her or its own personal use in Australia, and not for resale or re-supply or export.
"Participant" means a resident of Australia who purchases an eligible product(s)
from an HP reseller or business partner in Australia during the promotional period and is the end user of that product. “Product “means any HP product model mentioned in “Eligible Product “within the terms and conditions.
"Promoter" means Hewlett-Packard Australia Pty Ltd (ABN 74 004 394 763) of 353 Burwood Highway, Forest Hill, Victoria. 3131.
The "Promotional Period" for purchases commences Monday 6th July 2009 and ends on 31 January 2010 (“Promotional Period”). Customers can try the product until March 3rd 2010 and must put the claim for money back before Friday 5th March 2010.The promoter reserves the right to extend or modify this promotion at any time at its discretion.
2. Information on how to enter and promotion details form part of these terms and conditions.
3. To enter this promotion the participant must register for a refund online within 30 days of the purchase date shown on the Tax Invoice. The Promoter will arrange for a courier to pick up the eligible HP product along with a photocopy of the original tax invoice (no hand written receipts). Once validated, the Promoter will refund the Participant in full for the total purchase price of the eligible product.
4. The product being returned can only be picked up from the Participant’s address.
5. The payments will be made by electronic bank transfer or by Cheque within 75 days after receipt of the return product at the Promoter’s warehouse.
6. A maximum of one product per participant can be returned as determined by ABN.
7. All required information must be supplied online, including ABN, serial number and bar code from the product box.
8. The returned product must be in a saleable condition, undamaged and must include all original packaging and accessories (other detachable parts, manuals, CDs, cables, etc).
9. The Promoter’s decision on all matters pertaining to this Promotion is final and binding and no correspondence will be entered into, except as otherwise stated in these terms and conditions.
10. Liability for any tax on any refunds awarded to a Participant pursuant to this Promotion shall be the sole responsibility of the Participant. It is recommended that Participants contact their own accountant or taxation advisor in this regard.
11. The Promoter shall not be liable for any loss or damage whatsoever which is suffered (including, without limitation, indirect, consequential or economic loss), or for a personal injury suffered or sustained, as a result of participation in this promotion, except for any liability which cannot be excluded by law.
12. All entries become the property of the Promoter. The Promoter’s privacy policy may be viewed at: http://www.hp.com/country/au/eng/privacy.htm.
13. The Promoter will use the information contained in the promotion entry form to contact Participants if it has any queries regarding claims. 18. 14. All claims become the property of the Promoter. The Promoter collects your personal details in order to conduct this Promotion, and may pass that information to its related bodies corporate and agencies assisting with the promotion, which may be outside Australia. If the information requested is not provided, you may not participate in this Promotion. The Promoter will use the information contained in the entry form to contact you if it has any queries regarding claims. If you give your consent HP may contact you from time to time with information about special offers and products and services that may interest you, but you may unsubscribe later if you no longer wish to receive further marketing information. 15. These terms and conditions shall be governed by and construed in accordance with the laws in force in New South Wales, Australia
