1. Definitions
“Participant" means a resident of (or business trading in) Australia who purchases the requisite number of Eligible HP Products in Australia during the Promotional Period and is the end user of those Products. The Promoter’s related bodies corporate and agencies associated with this promotion (including, although not limited to resellers), and employees of the Promoter, its related bodies corporate and its agencies (including, although not limited to resellers) associated with this promotion and those employees’ immediate families are ineligible to participate.
“End user” is a Participant who purchases Eligible HP Products for his, her or its own personal use in Australia, and not for resale or re-supply or export.
"Promoter" means Hewlett-Packard Australia Pty Ltd (ABN 74 004 394 763) of 353 Burwood Highway, Forest Hill, Victoria, 3131.
“Promotional Period” commences at 9.00 am (AEST) on 14 September 2009 and ends at 11.59 pm (AEST) on 31 January 2010. The $100 reward for purchasing five (5) specially marked Eligible HP products will commence at 9.00 am 23 November 2009 and will end at 11.59 pm (AEST) on 31 January 2010. All claims must be submitted by 5.00 pm 8 February 2010. No claims will be accepted online after this date and the website will be closed.
“Eligible HP Products” means HP new and original LaserJet Toner Cartridges originating from the Promoter, bearing the promotional tag (the pink sticker which features a 20 digit e-coupon code located underneath the pink sticker once peeled). The Pink sticker is found on the outside of the box of each specially marked Eligible HP Product) for this Promotion and coded with any one of the following HP product codes:

An HP product code (20 digit e-coupon code) will be located underneath the pink sticker once peeled. The Pink sticker is found on the outside of the box of each specially marked Eligible HP Product.
2. Information on how to enter, redemption details and rewards form part of these terms and conditions. By submitting an entry, the Participant agrees to these terms and conditions.
3. Entry is only open to a Participant. The Promoter reserves the right to verify the validity of each entry. The Promoter reserves the right to disqualify any Participant or person tampering with the entry process or any entrant who does not meet the eligibility requirements or does not comply with these terms and conditions. To be eligible for this Promotion, the Participant must, during the Promotional Period, purchase in one purchase transaction in Australia the requisite number of Eligible HP Products, be the end user of those Eligible HP Products, and redeem in accordance with these Promotion terms and conditions. The requisite number of Eligible HP Products is as follows:
(a) Purchase ten (10) specially marked Eligible HP Products to receive one (1) reward being a HP EFTPOS Gift card to the value of $200. Be one of the first 1500 people to redeem, and receive an HP EFTPOS Gift card to the value of $400. This applies to the first 1500 people to register their details online, and have the promotional claim fully registered, confirmed and validated.
(b) Purchase five (5) specially marked Eligible HP products to receive one (1) reward being a HP EFTPOS Gift card to the value of $100.
4. To enter and redeem, Participant must correctly and fully complete and submit (by 5.00 pm on 8 February 2010) a promotion entry form online located at http://www.hp.com.au/supplies. Late submissions will not be accepted. The promotion entry form must be completed with the Participant’s correct name, contact details and any other requested information and must include a correct HP product code for each Eligible HP Product purchased. An HP product code (20 digit e-coupon code) will be located underneath the pink sticker once peeled. The Pink sticker is found on the outside of the box of each specially marked Eligible HP Product. Each code is unique and must only be used once. A Participant is limited to making five (5) entries and therefore can only receive a maximum of five (5) HP EFTPOS Gift Cards to the value of either $200 or $100 each, or $400 each if the participant has registered and fully confirmed and verified their claim, being part of the first 1500 people to redeem online.
5. This promotion excludes MVC/PPP/PPU/MPS program customers.
6. This promotion is not valid in conjunction with any other offer or promotional product bundle.
7. All reward values are in Australian dollars, are inclusive of GST and are correct at the time of printing. The Promoter accepts no responsibility for any variation in the value of rewards. Liability for any tax on any prize provided to Participants from this promotion will be the sole responsibility of the Participant. It is recommended that Participants should contact their own accountant or taxation advisor in this regard.
8. The Promoter’s decision on all matters pertaining to this Promotion is final and binding and no correspondence will be entered into, except as otherwise stated in these terms and conditions. To the extent permitted by law, no correspondence will be entered into after four (2) weeks of closing date of this Promotion (closing date being 31st January 2010). Any proof of purchase required to process offline claims (in the event of a claim not being fully validated online) must be sent and received by 15th February 2010. To the extent permitted by law, the promoter reserves the right to change, amend or terminate the promotion at any stage during the promotional period.
9. All rewards are subject to availability and will be replaced with an alternative reward of equal or greater value, and the affected Participants will be notified accordingly. The alternative reward could be provided in the form of cash, equivalent to the original reward value, at the discretion of the promoter. The HP EFTPOS card can be used at retail stores where the EFTPOS machine/capability is available. The HP EFTPOS card will be accepted at the sole discretion of the retailer. The promoter will not be responsible for any card being declined by any retailer.
10. To the extent permitted by law, the promoter shall not be liable for any fault pertaining to the bonus reward (gift card). Participants will need to liaise directly with the manufacturer of the reward (gift card), for any repair and/or replacement.
11. The Promoter shall not be liable for any loss or damage whatsoever which is suffered (including, without limitation, indirect, consequential or economic loss), or for any personal injury suffered or sustained, as a result of participating in this promotion, except for any liability which cannot be excluded by law. Further, to the fullest extent permitted by law, the Promoter excludes liability for any problems or technical malfunction of any telephone network or lines, computer online systems, servers, or providers, computer equipment, software, technical problems or traffic congestion on the Internet or any website, or any unauthorized intervention, or any combination thereof, including any non-delivery or corruption of entries to the Promoter, injury or damage to Participants' or any other person’s computer related to or resulting from participation in or down-loading any materials in this promotion. The use of any automated entry software or any other mechanical or electronic means that allows an entrant to automatically enter repeatedly is prohibited and will render all entries submitted by that Participant invalid.
12. Entries will be deemed invalid if the unique code is used more than once.
13. Rewards are not transferable.
14. Please allow up to seventy-five (75) days from the date of validating a promotion entry form, in order for it to be processed to receive the gift card.
15. All entries become the property of the Promoter. The Promoter’s privacy policy may be viewed at: http://www.hp.com/country/au/eng/privacy.htm.
16. The Promoter will use the information contained in the promotion entry form to contact Participants if it has any queries regarding claims, and to send rewards. The Promoter collects personal information in order to conduct the Promotion and may, for this purpose, disclose such information to its related bodies corporate and agencies assisting with the Promotion, which may be outside the participating country and as required, to Australian regulatory authorities. If the information requested is not provided, Participant may not participate in this Promotion. If Participant gives his or her consent HP may contact Participant from time to time with information about special offers and products and services that may interest Participant, but Participant may unsubscribe later if Participant no longer wishes to receive further marketing information. Participant may also contact the Promoter to change his or her details.
